Cleansing 101

Why You Should Juice Cleanse

Juice cleansing is the process of temporarily replacing food with cold pressed juices in order to reset the body, reclaim your health and maximize your body's ability to heal itself. When cleansing, we believe it is vital to consume 100% ORGANIC RAW JUICE!  Cold pressed juice is absorbed directly into the bloodstream, so we want to be sure you are not absorbing harmful chemicals when you are trying to achieve the exact opposite!

Juice cleansing has been researched extensively and has shown to have many benefits. It encourages full body detoxification, plus healthier digestion by rebalancing the gut microflora and decreasing whole body inflammation. Raw, organic juice is extremely rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants which can be easily absorbed since the body is not wasting energy breaking down and digesting whole foods. Juice cleansing regularly can help fight disease, support immunity, and may reduce the risk of cancer. Additionally, cleansing has been shown to boost mood and energy, clear break outs, reduce bloat, alleviate constipation, and kick cravings.

Juice cleansing floods the body with pounds of fruits, vegetables, and superfoods. This amount of nutrition all at once gives the body a vibrant wakeup call!

  • What juices are in a cleanse?
Simply Celery, Lean Green, Sweet Green, Carrot Refresh, Beet Vitality, and Detox Lemonade.
  • What order do I drink the juices?
Drink your Simply Celery first thing in the morning (celery juice is very alkaline and a great way to start your day). Drink your Detox Lemonade as your final juice of the day. Sweet Green, Lean Green, Beet Vitality and Carrot Refresh can be drank in any order in between.
  • How often do I drink the juices?
Every 2-3 hours, drink one of your juices. Stay hydrated with water in between each juice - we recommend filling your empty juice bottle with water after you drink each one to ensure you are getting in at least 6 bottles of water a day (this is a minimum).
  • Can I drink coffee while on a cleanse?
It is best to slowly wean yourself off caffeine before the cleanse to avoid having withdrawal headaches during the cleanse. If you absolutely cannot go without, just have some black coffee or green tea (no dairy) and carry on with the juices.
  • Can I have any food while doing a cleanse?
To get the full effect of a cleanse, we recommend not eating any food for the duration of the cleanse. If you must eat something, keep it raw and organic - try a piece of fruit, half an avocado, or a handful of raw, unsalted nuts.
